حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ , عَنْ يَحْيَى , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ , وَأَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ , وَأَوَّلُ مُشَفَّعٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of all the children of Adam. The earth will split open for me first (my grave will be opened first). I will be the first to intercede and my intercession will be accepted first.
