Hadith 10967

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ , عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ , عَنْ سَعِيدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْحَبَشَةُ يَلْعَبُونَ ، فَزَجَرَهُمْ عُمَرُ , فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " دَعْهُمْ يَا عُمَرُ ، فَإِنَّهُمْ بَنُو أَرْفِدَةَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the mosque and some Abyssinians began to display tricks with their spears. Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded them, but the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Umar! Leave them, they are Banu Arfada."
