Hadith 10965

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ , عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ , عَنْ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ , وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Wealth is not in the abundance of possessions; rather, true wealth is the wealth of the heart.
