It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My example is like that of a person who lit a fire. When the fire illuminated the surroundings, moths and wild animals began to fall into it. That person started pulling them back by their backs, but they overpowered him and kept falling into the fire. This is my example and yours: I am pulling you back by your backs so that you may be saved from the fire, but you keep falling into it.
