حَدَّثَنَا
حَسَنٌ , حَدَّثَنَا
شَيْبَانُ , عَنْ
يَحْيَى , قََالَ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي
أَبُو سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَغَارُ , وَإِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَغَارُ , وَغَيْرَةُ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A believer is possessive (protective), and Allah is even more possessive. And a part of Allah's possessiveness is that a person should avoid those things which Allah has forbidden for him.
