Hadith 10773

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ , عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ , عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كُلُّ بَنِي آدَمَ يَطْعُنُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِإِصْبَعِهِ فِي جَنْبِهِ حِينَ يُولَدُ إِلَّا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ , ذَهَبَ يَطْعُنُ فَطَعَنَ فِي الْحِجَابِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every newborn child is pricked by Satan, because of which every newborn child cries, but this did not happen with Hazrat Isa (peace be upon him). Satan did go to prick him, but he ended up pricking something else that was in between.
