Hadith 10763

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ , حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ , قََالَ : عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ , قََالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُهَيْلٌ , حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا , وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا , وَبِكَ نَحْيَا , وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ , وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate in the morning: "O Allah, with Your name we have entered the morning, and with Your name we enter the evening, with Your name we live and die, and to You is the return."
