Hadith 10748

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ , عَنْ هِشَامٍ , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ , عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، فَلْيُخَالِفْ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any one of you prays in a single garment, he should place both ends of the garment over his shoulders from opposite sides.
