Hadith 10747

حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ قَتَادَةَ , يَعْنِي , عَنِ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا جَلَسَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ ، ثُمَّ اجْتَهَدَ ، فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ " , قَالَ عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ : ثُمَّ جَهَدَهَا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a man sits between the four corners of his wife and makes an effort, then ghusl becomes obligatory upon him.
