Hadith 10744

حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ أَبُو صَالِحٍ , قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ , وَذَكَرَ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ ، فَقَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهُ قَدْ فَارَقَنِي عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا يَشْرَبُ النَّبِيذَ " .
Shu'ayb bin Harb (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioning Sufyan Thawri (may Allah have mercy on him), that he said: "He parted from me on the condition that he would not drink nabidh."
