حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ , جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَهَيْئَتِهِ , لَوْنُهُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ , وَرِيحُهُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ " , قَالَ أَبِي , وَحَدَّثَنَاه عَنْ شَرِيكٍ أَيْضًا يَعْنِي أَسْوَدَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever receives a wound in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with it fresh, just as it was on the day it was inflicted; its color will be like blood, but its fragrance will be like musk.
