Hadith 10628

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " حَقُّ الضِّيَافَةِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ ، فَمَا أَصَابَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ , فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hospitality is for three days; whatever is beyond that is charity.
