حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا حُبَيْبٌ , عَنِ الْحَسَنِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُسَلِّمُ الرَّاكِبُ عَلَى الْمَاشِي ، وَالْمَاشِي عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ " , وَقَالَ بِبَغْدَادَ : " وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ ، وَالصَّغِيرُ عَلَى الْكَبِيرِ " , وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ بِبَغْدَادَ : وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The rider should greet the one who is walking, the one who is walking should greet the one who is sitting, and the smaller group should greet the larger group.
