Hadith 10519

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ " يُصَلِّي بِهِمْ فَيُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ ، فَإِذَا انْصَرَفَ , قَالَ : أَنَا أَشْبَهُكُمْ صَلَاةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Abu Salamah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say takbeer at every rising and lowering while leading them in prayer, and when he finished, he would say that in terms of prayer, I am the most similar to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) among you.
