Hadith 10514

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَلْبُ الْكَبِيرِ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ حُبِّ الْحَيَاةِ ، وَحُبِّ الْمَالِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In an old man, the love for two things becomes young: a long life and abundance of wealth and property.
