Hadith 10512

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ ، وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ ، وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Modesty is a part of faith, and faith leads to Paradise, and obscene speech is a part of harshness, and harshness leads to Hell.
