Hadith 104

(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَ عُمَرُ النَّاسَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ رَخَّصَ لِنَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَاءَ ، وَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ مَضَى لِسَبِيلِهِ ، فَأَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ كَمَا أَمَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَحَصِّنُوا فُرُوجَ هَذِهِ النِّسَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) delivered a sermon before the people and said: "Allah Almighty has granted His Prophet whatever concession He wished to grant, and he has departed from this mortal world. Therefore, you should perform Hajj and Umrah completely, as Allah Almighty has commanded you to do, and guard the private parts of these women."
