حَدَّثَنَا
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ
خِلَاسٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :
" مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي هِبَتِهِ ، كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ أَكَلَ ، حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ، ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَأَكَلَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a person who gives a gift to someone and then takes it back is like that of a dog who eats to his fill, and when his belly is full, he vomits, and then licks up and eats his vomit again.
