Hadith 10258

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، الْأَنْبِيَاءُ إِخْوَةٌ مِنْ عَلَّاتٍ ، أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ شَتَّى ، وَدِينُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ " .
It is narrated with the previous chain that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am the closest of all people to Jesus (peace be upon him). All the prophets (peace be upon them) are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one.
