Hadith 10254

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا أَزَالُ أُقَاتِلُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، فَإِذَا قَالُوا : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، فَقَدْ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَأَنْفُسَهُمْ ، إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَا ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
It is narrated from the previous chain that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: I will continue to fight until they say "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah). When they say this word, they have protected their lives and wealth from me, except for the right of this word, and their reckoning is with Allah the Exalted.
