Hadith 10251

حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظَّنَّ ، فَإِنَّ الظَّنَّ أَكْذَبُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا ، وَلَا تَنَافَسُوا ، وَلَا تَدَابَرُوا ، وَلَا تَبَاغَضُوا ، وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guard yourselves against suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech. Do not spy on one another, do not seek out each other's faults, do not compete with one another, do not deceive one another, do not sever ties of kinship, do not harbor malice, and be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another."
