Hadith 10244

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْءَمَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا ، لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ ، وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِلَّا كَانَ تِرَةً عَلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Those people who gather in a place for a meeting but do not remember Allah in it nor send blessings upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and then disperse, it will be a cause of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection.
