Hadith 10222

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " جَاءَ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ ، هُمْ أَرَقُّ أَفْئِدَةً ، وَأَلْيَنُ قُلُوبًا ، وَالْفِقْهُ يَمَانٍ ، وَالْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ ، وَالْحِكْمَةُ يَمَانِيَةٌ ، وَالْخُيَلَاءُ وَالْكِبْرُ فِي أَصْحَابِ الْإِبِلِ ، وَالسَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ فِي أَصْحَابِ الشَّاءِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Yemen have come to you. These people are soft-hearted, and faith, wisdom, and jurisprudence are very excellent among the people of Yemen. Pride and arrogance are found among the owners of camels, and calmness and dignity are found among the owners of goats.
