Hadith 10213

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ ، وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Saying "Subhan Allah" to remind the imam is for men, and clapping is for women.
