Hadith 10201

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ نَارَكُمْ هَذِهِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ " ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ : إِنَّهَا لَكَافِيَةٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " فَإِنَّهَا فُضِّلَتْ عَلَيْهَا بِتِسْعَةٍ وَسِتِّينَ جُزْءًا حَرًّا فَحَرًّا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This fire of yours, which the children of Adam kindle, is one part out of seventy parts of the fire of Hell." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), by Allah! Even this one part would be sufficient." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The fire of Hell is sixty-nine degrees hotter than this, each degree equal in heat to this (worldly fire)."
