Hadith 10187

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ , وَشُعْبَةُ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَار ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ فِي فَرَسِهِ وَلَا عَبْدِهِ صَدَقَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no zakat on a Muslim’s horse and slave.
