حَدَّثَنَا
عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا
حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ
مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُدْخِلُهُ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ " ، قَالُوا : وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّه ؟ قَالَ : " وَلَا أَنَا , إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ " ، قَالَ بَهْزٌ : " وَفَضْل " ، وَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ .
It is narrated with the same chain that I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him) saying: None of you will be saved by his deeds. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), not even you?" He replied, "Not even me, unless my Lord covers me with His forgiveness and mercy." After saying this, the Prophet (peace be upon him) placed his hand on his head.
