Hadith 10054

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى غُلَامِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَلَا عَلَى فَرَسِهِ صَدَقَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no zakat on a Muslim’s horse and slave.
