حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ يُحَدِّث ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ , يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ ، إِلَّا السَّامَ " ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ : فَقُلْتُ لِقَتَادَةَ : مَا السَّامُ ؟ قَالَ : الْمَوْتُ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In this black seed there is a cure for every disease except death.
