Hadith 10036

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ , وَبَهْزٌ , الْمَعْنَى , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، قََالَ : بَهْزٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ , أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قََالَ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : إِنَّ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقْرَأُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ بِهِمَا " .
Muhammad bin Ali (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a man said to Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite Surah Al-Jumu'ah and Surah Al-Munafiqun in the Friday prayer. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also used to recite these two surahs.
