Hadith 10031

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَاد ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَقُولُ : " مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا ، يَأْتِي عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ ، لَيْسَ شَيْئًا أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ " .
It is narrated from the same chain that I heard Abu al-Qasim (peace be upon him) saying: If the mountain of Uhud were to turn into gold for me, I would not like to die leaving even a single dinar, except for that which I set aside to pay off a debt that is due upon me.
