Hadith 10025

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ , قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَة ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُول : قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : " كُلُّ الْعَمَلِ كَفَّارَةٌ إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ ، وَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ " .
It is narrated with the same chain that I heard Abul Qasim (peace be upon him) say that Allah Almighty has said: Every deed is an expiation except for fasting; fasting is especially for Me, and I Myself will reward it.
