Hadith 10022

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ , قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَة ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قََالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " خِيَارُكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا ، إِذَا فَقِهُوا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard Abul Qasim, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: The best among you are those who have good character and are jurists (possess understanding of religion).
