Hadith 10020

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مروان الأصفر , وَعَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي مَيْمُونَةَ ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا أَبَا رَافِعٍ ، قََالَ : رَأَيْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ " يَسْجُدُ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ سورة الانشقاق آية 1 ، قََالَ : قُلْتُ : تَسْجُدُ فِيهَا ؟ قََالَ : رَأَيْتُ خَلِيلِي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا ، فَلَا أَزَالُ أَسْجُدُ فِيهَا حَتَّى أَلْقَاهُ " .
Abu Rafi’ says that once I saw Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reciting Surah Inshiqaq. I asked him, and he replied that my beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed sajdah (prostration) at this verse, so I will always perform sajdah upon reaching this verse until I meet the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
