Hadith 10016

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قََالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قََالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ , يَجِدُ ثَلَاثَ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ ؟ فَثَلَاثُ آيَاتٍ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does any one of you like that he should return to his family with three pregnant she-camels?" The companions said, "Yes (everyone would like that)." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites three verses of the Noble Qur'an in prayer, for him those three verses are better than three pregnant she-camels."
