Hadith 95
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ مَيْسَرَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ قَدْ عُطِّلَتْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ عَمَّرَ مَيْسَرَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ، كَانَ لَهُ كِفْلانِ مِنَ الأَجْرِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that it was submitted to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "The left side of the mosque has become completely empty." So the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever populates the left side of the mosque will receive double the reward."
