Hadith 94
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يُنْبَذَ الْبُسْرُ وَالرُّطَبُ جَمِيعًا، وَالْبُسْرُ وَالتَّمْرُ جَمِيعًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade making nabidh from dates before they ripen and from fresh dates. He also forbade making nabidh by mixing busr (unripe dates) and dry dates together.
