Hadith 86
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صُقَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " بَيْنَمَا ثَلاثَةٌ يَمْشُونَ إِذْ أَخَذَتْهُمُ السَّمَاءُ، فَأَوَوْا إِلَى غَارٍ فِي جَبَلٍ، فَوَقَعَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ صَخْرَةٌ . . " وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِطُولِهِ .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three men were traveling when rain and lightning from the sky surrounded them, so they took refuge in a cave of a mountain, when a large rock fell over (the mouth of the cave)." Then he narrated the hadith in detail.
