Hadith 79
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَكَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ صَبِيحٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَا اشْتَرَطَا الْخِيَارَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Two people involved in a transaction have the option (to cancel the sale) as long as they do not separate, unless they both stipulate the condition of choice.
