Hadith 56
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا حَقُّ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ لَهُ شَيْءٌ يُوصِي فِيهِ، يَبِيتُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ إِلا وَعِنْدَهُ وَصِيَّةٌ " .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not proper for a Muslim who has something to bequeath, that he should spend two nights without having his will written and kept with him."
