Hadith 51
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلامِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّالاتِيُّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الصَّايِغِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " فِي أَرْبَعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ مِنَ الإِبِلِ خَمْسُ شِيَاهٍ إِلَى أَنْ تَبْلُغَ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ، فَإِذَا بَلَغَتْ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ، فَفِيهَا ابْنَةُ مَخَاضٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنِ ابْنَةُ مَخَاضٍ، فَابْنُ لَبُونٍ ذَكَرٌ إِلَى خَمْسٍ وَثَلاثِينَ، ثُمَّ وَصَفَ مثل مَا يَصِفُ غَيْرُهُ مِنَ الأَسْنَانِ إِلَى أَنْ تَبْلُغَ عِشْرِينَ وَمِائَةً، فَإِذَا زَادَتْ فَفِي كُلِّ خَمْسٍ وَأَرْبَعِينَ ابْنُ لَبُونٍ، وَفِي كُلِّ سِتِّينَ حِقَّةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "For twenty-four camels, the zakat is five goats, until they become twenty-five. When they reach twenty-five, then among them is one 'bint makhad' (a one-year-old she-camel). If there is no 'bint makhad', then up to thirty-five, it is 'ibn labun' (a two-year-old male camel). Then, regarding the age of the zakat camels, the same situation is described as others narrate, until the number of camels reaches one hundred and twenty. When the number exceeds one hundred and twenty, then for every forty-five, one 'ibn labun', and for every sixty, one 'hiqqah' (a three-year-old she-camel) is due as zakat."
