It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), a man asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "What clothing can a person in Ihram wear?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "A person in Ihram should not wear a shirt, turban, trousers, cap, or leather socks. If shoes are not available, then he may wear leather socks, but he should cut them below the ankles. And he should not wear any garment that has been touched by wars or saffron (fragrance)." Ibn Aun did not mention the turban.
