Hadith 38
حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ أَخُو حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ السَّخْتِيَانِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا أَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ وَنَصَحَ لِسَيِّدِهِ، يُؤْتَى أَجْرَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a slave worships his Lord well and obeys his master, he is given a double reward.
