Hadith 28
حَدَّثَنَا الأَسْوَدُ، عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ هَارُونَ، عَنْ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ مُرَّةُ : ابْنُ وَائِلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِتْنَةً، وَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ مُقَنَّعٌ، قَالَ : " يُقْتَلُ هَذَا مَظْلُومًا "، فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned tribulation, and a man with his face covered passed by there. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said (regarding him): "This oppressed one will be killed." I looked at him, and he was Uthman bin Affan, may Allah be pleased with him.
