Hadith 18
حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَدِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ : إِنَّكَ تُزَاحِمُ عَلَى الرُّكْنَيْنِ زِحَامًا مَا رَأَيْنَا أَحَدًا يَفْعَلُ كَفِعْلِكَ، فَقَالَ : إِنْ أَفْعَلْ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ مَسْحَهُمَا يَحُطَّانِ الْخَطَايَا حَطًّا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he was asked: You exert (great) effort at the two corners, while we have not seen anyone else doing as you do. He replied: If I do so, it is because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Indeed, touching them erases sins."
