Hadith 8
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : أَنْبَأَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : هَلْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " .
Tawoos (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated regarding Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): (He was asked) Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibit making nabidh in clay pots and gourd vessels? He said: Yes.
