حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، أَنَّ نَافِعًا أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ يَأْثِرُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَاكِبًا، كَذَلِكَ وَيُوتِرُ رَاكِبًا "، وَقَدْ زَعَمَ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : إِنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ رَاكِبًا .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to pray on his mount. In the same way, he would also perform Witr on his mount. Musa bin Uqbah is of the opinion, narrated from Nafi‘ (may Allah have mercy on him), that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) stated that he saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing Witr on his mount.
