Hadith 61

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلاةً يَعْنِي الْعَصْرَ، حَتَّى تَفُوتَهُ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " . وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُصَلِّيهَا وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever misses the Asr prayer until it is lost, it is as if his family and his wealth have been destroyed." And Abdullah bin Umar used to perform the Asr prayer while the sun was still shining brightly.
