Hadith 287
أنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَابُوسَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الرَّاحِمُونَ يَرْحَمُهُمُ الرَّحْمَنُ، ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ، يَرْحَمْكُمْ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those who show mercy, the Most Merciful will show mercy to them. Show mercy to those on the earth, the One in the heavens will show mercy to you."
