Hadith 284
أنا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَقْرَبُهُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا : إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ، وَأَبْغَضُ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَشَدُّهُمْ عَذَابًا : إِمَامٌ جَائِرٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, who said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the most beloved of people to Allah and the closest to me in assembly among them will be the just ruler, and on the Day of Resurrection, the most disliked of people to Allah and the one with the severest punishment among them will be the oppressive ruler."
